Enola Gay was the name of the airplane that carried and dropped the atomic bomb on Japan.  Enola Gay was an American fighter plane.  It was quite larger for the average fighter plane but it opened at the belly and dropped what would ever be know as the atomic bomb.

The Enola Gay was the American bomber that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima on August 6, 1945.  After a second bomb was dropped on Nagasaki, Japan eventually surrendered bringing an end to the war in the Pacific.  What began with the Japanese surprise attack at Pearl Harbor ended with the first and only military use of atomic weapons.  The single bomb dropped on Hiroshima killed up to 150,000 people, mostly civilians.  With such enormous destructive power, nuclear weapons were to play a pivotal role in the Cold War between the USSR and the US.

Enola Gay was the airplane the atomic bomb was launched from over Hiroshima.  This was done in hopes of ending the war with Japan after they attacked Pearl Harbor.  Japan was surprised at how quickly the U.S. was able to fight back.

The Enola Gay was the plane that dropped the “Little Boy” and “Fat Man” atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  These acts ended the war in the Pacific.  It also opened the world up to a nuclear age of potential annihilation of everything on the earth.

The Enola Gay was the bomber that dropped atomic bombs on both Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August of 1945.  The total annihilation of these two cities is what led to the eventual surrender of the Japanese the following month.  It was also the dawn of a new era in which those superpowers who could manufacture such weapons could impose their will on anyone who could not.  World politics were changed forever by the advent of weapons that could annihilate the entire population of the planet in moments.

The Battle of Agincourt was a deciding battle in the 100 years war were cannons and gun powder were heavily used and be came of a deciding factor in the battle.  English was against the French used to detail warfare of the time.

Toward the end of the 100 Years’ War, King Henry V of England led his army in a battle against the French at Agincourt in 1415.  Henry had about 6,000 men to the French 24,000.  The English won the battle due to several factors: the use of the English longbow, a defensive position, extremely muddy terrain that hampered French movement, and a narrow field that crowded the French cavalry together.  This battle illustrated a shift in warfare toward the dominance of infantry forces and away from mounted knights.

The Battle of Agincourt was a fight during the 100 years war between France and England for lands in France that both claimed as theirs.  King Henry and his English troops were out numbered by French, but by using the geography of the land and the superior longbows they massacred the French and won Agincourt.  Nonetheless, by the end of the 100 years war England had completely lost all lands in France.

This was a battle where many of the new military techniques, such as the longbow, were used.  The English won the battle.

This battle took place in the 1400s during the during the 100 years’ war.  6000 English soldiers defeated 25,000 French soldiers.  This battle showed the effectiveness of the English longbow which was a bow that could shoot 12-16 times per minute at a distance of 150-300 yards.  This took an extremely long time to master, but looking at the results of the battle it was worth it.  The French, however, eventually won the war.

De fabrica is an art tapestry.  They tell a story.  Most stories relate to Christian things.  However, they also show battles and other things that have happened.  People often learned from pictures instead of words.  Like we wouldn’t be able to fully understand History without pictures.

Blitzkrieg was the German plan during world war I to attack France first and whip them out, then focus on the soviet union because it would take the soviet union longer to form an Army.  The plan was doomed when France put up a stronger fight than had been expected and the battle got bogged down in trench warfare.
